YouTube Analytics

Analyze a public YouTube channel and compare recent video performance. Learn how to interpret public views and subscriber counts.

Open YouTube Analytics

Find the right channel

Select YouTube and enter a public channel handle or channel URL. Check the channel name before comparing results, especially when several channels use similar names.

Compare Shorts and long videos separately

A Short and a long-form upload can accumulate views differently. Group comparable formats and compare videos of similar age to make the results more useful.

Use subscriber counts as context

Subscriber counts describe the channel’s audience size. Recent video views describe viewing activity. A small set of recent uploads cannot establish how many subscribers watched each video.
